Pre election activity and interviews for the exco election has concluded on friday n saturday respectively and I must say most of you have presented yourself very well. Now, all the candidates are moving to their final stage in the election process. The vote for the coming exco will be casted on Wednesday 23rd May 2007 from 1530-1830 at Reading Room. All members are to be punctual on the coming wednesday and your attendance is extremely important. Candidates are also recommended to be there early for the sequence of the speeches will be made known to you before the event starts. Please kindly spread this message to all members and the attire for the day is FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM or Club T-shirt with long pants or skirt. Please do not come in other attire.


p.s Poh Li Wen, our fellow J1 member, has injured herself after a bad fall on Saturday. She is running for Treasurer in this election and I hope all members will take into account of this during voting if she is unable to come to school on Wednesday.

This post is regarding this morning announcement of result. I have received feedback from club member that they feel unfair and upset for not being invited on to the bridge for only the top 3 of each categories are invited. I must apologize that it is my fault for mishandling this event. My rationale for not inviting everyone was because we were only given a limited amount of time for the announcement and it is impossible for us to read out everyone's achievement. On top of that, I was also afraid of not able to accomodate everyone on the bridge for there are a total of 56 of us. Despite all these, it is my incompetence that I have not informed the members earlier enough and gave them the explanation. I am sure many of you felt awkward today when your friend asked you why you were not up on the bridge. I am deeply sorry about that and I must say that it is totally my carelessness for overlooking the issue.

Hi all, as you all know, the competition that we trained for the past month is finally coming. This competition is the most important for the club in every year and the club certainly needs your support!! Besides the participants that must be present on that day (no doubt about that..), we are inviting all non-competing members go down and support your dearest club mates.

For Competitors and Supports, below are the details:
Venue:
Betok Sports Hall
Time:
Meet at Betok MRT Station at 8am Sharp. (Competition will be held from 9am to 5pm)
Attire:
Competitors: Full Attire with your competiting belt (e.g A white belter must wear a yellow belt if he is competing in the yellow belt category)
Supporters:Hwa Chong/Club T-Shirts (Pe, Orientation, Fac...etc)

Please bring along money for lunch.

Hi everyone, please do not send in any more exco form unless you have handed in your hard copy to me and haven't send in the soft ones. Please wait for the details of the election procedures to be released(probably before next wednesday). Meanwhile, please prepare your election speeches (approx. 3minutes long) and be prepared to be questioned about what you have written in your exco forms.
