Hi all. happy post blocks to all j2s! (hur as if there's a diff.)

few important announcements to be made to j1s and j2s.

J1s:

EDIT: SATURDAY (4th april) - training at 0900, attire is track pants and shirt. (don't wear ur gi cos it's needed for sunday's grading)

exco elections - i know we said we'll upload the form and information up by tonight, but due to some delays, the relevant information will be uploaded by sunday night, after grading. do check the blog then for the job descriptions and application form. meanwhile, take some time to ponder seriously as to whether you want to run for the hctkd exco 08/09.

J2s:

Those coming for self defence (the actual thing) on saturday, attire is track pants and tkd shirt (don't wear gi - grading the next day).

J1s AND J2s:

Sunday, 6th april - GRADING. bring full gi, belt, pen, white t-shirt (for girls), neat hair and no accessories like ear studs, colourful hair accessories etc. meet at toa payoh MRT station at 0800 or toa payoh sports hall at 830 if you're going there yourself. GUARDS for J2s (esp groin guards for guys.)

Tuesday, 8th april - pattern competition training, celestine (our imba zai coach) is coming down to teach. meet at 1500 outside tkd room for all involved in the competition. J1s who want to go for the competition come down, we'll figure something out. attire: track pants and shirt (again, don't wear ur gi pants unless you are able to wash it by the next day for training. )

Wednesday, 9th april - normal training. FULL GI and WHITE t-shirt inside for girls. i emphasize this as we notice that there is an increasing number of people not wearing proper attire - i.e. full gi or white shirts inside the gi. the tkd shirt is not white, neither is it a gi. i know it's pretty, but wear it out of formal training please. thanks.

alright that's all for now. take note of all the dates, timings and attire and see you there!

remember to practise your patterns AND basic kicks for grading!
