Guidelines for Hwa Chong Taekwondo

Hi all! Here are some general guidelines for hctkd, please do try to follow them :)
Training
1. Training begins at 2.45pm SHARP every Wednesday and at 4 pm every Friday. You will be marked late if you arrive
after the club has bowed to Mr Guna.
2. If you are late without a valid reason, you will be made to do PT after training as a form of punishment (e.g. 30 push-ups, 30 sit-ups and 30 burpees) so please try to be punctual!
3. If you have been
marked late thrice, it will be considered as
one day of absence.
4. Attendance will be marked at every official training and you will be marked absent should you be absent without a valid reason.
a. Do take note that the minimum requirement to take gradings and participate in competitions is an 80% attendance rate
5. Try to place shoes behind the stone chairs upon reporting
Attire
1. Everyone MUST wear full gi for training on Wednesdays
2. Everyone should wear half gi for training on Fridays
3. Proper hairstyles should be sported
4. Girls MUST wear an inner white shirt
Injury / Misconduct
1. Always do necessary stretchings before training
2. It is advisable to not do any kicks above your belt level if the coach has yet to teach you.
3. Take extra caution when doing any kicks not related to your current belt or above.
4. Always inform your SLs/welfare rep should you sustain any injuries during training.
Administration
1. All information will be disseminated via the HCTKD blog and your respective SLs
2. Please check the HCTKD blog regularly and reply to your SLs as promptly as possible
3. In the event you are unable to attend training/ will be late for training due to valid reasons, please tell any ExCo member, who shall report to the others
4. Please cooperate and pay up in due time for club funds / financial collection
5. Suggestions can be brought up via the HCTKD blog or any ExCo member
6. No food is supposed to be consumed in the HCTKD room
