HI j1s! Please take note of the following!
22nd, 24th Feb:
-Compulsory Training to prepare for Grading & Comps Selections (3.30pm onwards)
-Issuance of Club Application Forms
-Final Order-taking for Taekwondo Uniforms
-Black belts: Submission of documents for Conversion (3 passport sized photos, $40 & photocopy of IC front+back AND POOM CERT)
25th Feb [Optional for J1s white belt]:
-Training (0845-1045) + Selections for Green Belt and above. (1045-1200)
27th, 28th Feb:
-Self-training (optional) outside Taekwondo Room to prepare for Grading/ learn kicks
29th Feb:
-WHITE BELT GRADING (Start preparing at 3pm)
-Training for J2s
-Issuance of Interjcs Registration Forms to J2s
2nd, 3rd March:
-J2s to submit registration forms and all relevant documents
3rd March:
-Prelim Poomsae and Yellow Belt Poomsae (Il Jang) Selections for J1s below Green belt
-Issuance of Registration Forms to J1s for Competition
5th, 6th March: J1s Submission of registration forms and all relevant documents for Inter-JCs
PURCHASE OF GI:
Everyone must have the full set of Taekwondo Uniform (Gi) (for grading). For poom belts who are gonna convert, you'll need to purchase the black belt uniform.
J1s who wish to order the uniform, please SMS/inform Li Ting (J2) by next Wednesday- give her your name and uniform size. Indicate if you need the black belt uniform.
The sizes are 160, 170, 180, 190cm. We recommend you order the size thats your rounded-up height. Ie 151-160 order 160, 161 to 169 order 170.
Estimated prices:
White Belt Uniform (with belt): $70
Black Belt Uniform (without belt): $90
Standard Black Belt: $10
All J1s must purchase the HCTKD club logo to be sewn on your Gi. They are priced at $5.50 each. The prices are reasonable as you would be wearing the uniform for at least 2 years:)
